Tilicho Lake Bass Trekking

Tilicho Lake and Mesokantu-la pass treks lies in Annapurna Region which provides some of the world’s best trekking routes and is the undoubtedly, including as it does a greater variety of scenery and culture. The route via Tilicho Lake and the two passes (Masokanto La 5099m and Tilicho Pass 5230m) that guard it from the Kaligandaki Valley beyond is still used and offers the adventurous and fit trekker high mountain scenery at its very best. Mesokantu-La is low altitude pass than Tilicho but more technical and need to be use rope. With same timeframe you can also attempt the Tilicho pass. Trekkers can choose the trekking via Jomsom and via Besi Sahar to do Tilicho Lake and Mesokantu-la pass. This Trek gives nice panoramic views. Tilicho Lake 4919m is World highest lake, situated In the Annapurna range of the Central Nepal Himalaya. This is a splendid summer trek, as rewarding as it is challenging. The Tilicho lake trek is among the finest serious Nepal treks best experienced in the Monsoon but we run this treks at any time of year except snowing season. On the way you would have passed (Mesokantu-La 5099m) through every type of vegetation zone from lush sub-tropical to harsh semi-desert and passed over one of the highest trekking passes in the world. You will have entered a world without roads or cars and witnessed the way people have worked, played and survived for hundreds and hundreds of years. Mesokantu-La is low altitude pass than Tilicho but more technical and need to be use rope. With same timeframe you can also attempt the Tilicho pass. Trekkers carry only day pack and walk at their own pace. Average hiking per day will be 6-7 hrs.

Trip Itinerary :

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel and welcome Dinner.
Day 02: Full day Kathmandu valley Guided Tour.
Day 03: Bus: Kathmandu – Besishahar (6h-850m). Trek to Ngadi (5h30-1000m).
Day 04: Ngadi – Jagat (6h-1314m).
Day 05: Jagat – Dharapani (6h-1943m).
Day 06: Dharapani – Chame (5h30-2713m).
Day 07: Chame – Pisang (6h-3185m).
Day 08: Pisang –Ngawal (3780m) – Manang (7h-3340m).
Day 09: Acclimatization.
Day 10: Manang – Khansar (4h-3750m).
Day 11: Khansar – Tilicho Phedi (6h-4500m).
Day 12: Tilicho Phedi – Tilicho Lake (3h-5020m).
Day 13: Tilicho Lake – Mesokenta Pass (5100m) – Yak Kharka (6h-4200m).
Day 14: Yak Kharka – Marpha (5h-2667m).
Day 15: Marpha – Lete Khola.(6h-2200m).
Day 16: Lete Khola – Tatopani (6h-1190m).
Day 17: Tatopani – Ghorepani (7h-2850m).
Day 18: Ghorepani – Ghandrung (6h-1950m).
Day 19: Ghandrung – Pothana (6h-1750m).
Day 20: Pothana – Phedi. Drive to Pokhara and transfer at hotel.(3h).
Day 21: By Plane/Bus: Pokhara – Kathmandu.
Day 22: Free day for shopping and other activities.
23: Depature for your own Home town.

Price For The Trip: The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons, the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.
