Pike Peak Trekking

This trek lies in Solu region. which is quite remote area where we can see only few tourists. This area is only for camping not for tea house where only local people houses are found. We will go through interesting villages having monasteries, temples and pilgrimage places on this trek. In this trek we can see Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mera Peak, Numbur Himal, Gauri Shankar, Dudh Kunda Himal and many other peaks mainly from Pike Peak and Changge Danda as well. In this region we can find 5 different types of rhododendron species. We can learn about different local cultures in this trek including Sherpa culture. In this region we can find different types of rhododendron species and other kinds of flowers and birds too. We can enjoy this trek especially on September-October and March-April. The itinerary for this trip is mentioned below.

Trip Itinerary :

Day 1     Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 2     Sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Day 3     Fly to Rumjatar and trek to Center.
Day 4     Trek to Thare.
Day 5     Trek to Pattale.
Day 6     Hike to Changge Danda (Rest day).
Day 7     Trek to Chyangba.
Day 8     Trek to Lhamuje.
Day 9     Trek to Pike.
Day 10  Trek to Kunikhope.
Day 11  Trek to Phaplu.
Day 12  Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 13  Rest day in Kathmandu.
Day 14  Departure for your own home town.

Price For The Trip: The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons, the same trek/tour can vary in price quite substantially.
