This is a classic trip covering the highlights of India and Nepal. You will have the opportunity to be acquainted with the history, culture, religion and the architectural treasuries of this region. You will visit the Taj Mahal, Maharaja’s Palaces, temples of “Kama Sutra” and the mystical ghats of Varanasi. After crossing the India-Nepal border you will visit the birthplace of Buddha, Lumbini. In Royal Chitwan National Park you will chase the rhinos sitting on an elephant back. You will enjoy the overwhelmingly beautiful panorama in Pokhara and explore the Durbar Squares, temples, stupas, monasteries and many more in Katmandu Valley.

Program :

Day 01 :Arrival in Delhi
Arrival in Delhi, transfer to hotel. Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi o/n in a hotel
Day 02 : Delhi-Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur through authentic villages. On the way visit of Amber Fort, a first introduction to the Rajput architecture. Overnight hotel in Jaipur.
Day 03 : Jaipur-Agra
Sightseeing of Jaipur and drive to Agra o/n in a hotel
Day 04 : Agra
Sightseeing of Agra. The Taj Mahal, one of the 7 world wonders, is so beautiful that no poet can describe it with words. o/n in a hotel
Day 05 : Agra-Khajuraho
On the way to Khajuraho, a stop in Orcha, a well preserved city. Long drive to Khajuraho o/n in a hotel
Day 06 : Khajuraho
Sightseeing of the “Kama Sutra”” temples o/n in a hotel
Day 07 : Khajuraho-Allhabad
Drive to Allahabad, situated at the confluence of India’s two holy rivers. This is also the hometown of Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India o/n in a hotel
Day 08 : Allhahabad-Varanasi
Today drive to the “Eternal City” of India: Varanasi or Benares. This is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage sites of India. Situated on the banks of the Ganges, Varanasi has been the center of learning Hindu religion and civilization for over 2000 years. You can also see the dead bodies being cremated on the bank. You will visit the Golden Temple, the great mosque of Aurangzeb, Durga Temple etc o/n in  a hotel
Day 09 : Varanasi-Bhairahawa ( Nepal)
River trip on the Ganges, one of the must do’s of a visit to Varanasi. A long drive to the India-Nepal border called Sunauli. After some immigration formalities we drive further two kilometers to Bhairahawa o/n in a hotel
Day 10 : Bhairahawa-Lumbini-Chitwan
In the morning visit of Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. Afterwards drive to Royal Chitwan National Park. In the afternoon, you will take an elephant back safari in the wilderness of the park. Dinner and o/n in tent
Day 11 : Chitwan
In the morning a short bird watching tour in the forest. Then drive along the Trisuli River, gradually gaining the altitudes from 150 to 1300m, through the roadside bazaars, terraced fields and steep hills o/n in a hotel
Day 12 : Chitwan-Kathmandu
Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. Visit of Pashupatinath, Bodnath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square o/n in a hotel
Day13 : Kathmandu Sightseeing
Sightseeing Bhaktapur and Patan, the medieval principalities of the valley o/n in a hotel
Day 14 : Departure
Transfer to airport for departure
