The Nepal and the Japanese government delegations have discussed issues related to bilateral trade, air service, tourism promotion and investment in Nepal.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ram Kumar Shrestha who had reached Tokyo on May 31 in connection with the inauguration of the Everest Nepal Exhibition held at Tokyo Tower in Tokyo on June 1 to 2 met Minoru Kiuchi, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to the press statement issued by Embassy of Nepal in Tokyo.

During the meeting, Shrestha stressed on renewal of Air Service Agreement between Nepal and Japan and the need for direct air services between Tokyo and Kathmandu.

Stressing the importance of bilateral relationship, Kiuchi said that Japan was keen to support Nepal on her pursuance of the policy of enhancing the pace of socio-economic development and hoped that the Constituent Assembly election would pave the way for Nepal’s rapid advancement, political stability and full-fledged democratization.

Similarly, Minister Shrestha also discussed issues related to tourism promotion between the two nations and their importance for bilateral relations with Yosuke Tsuroho, Parliamentary Senior Vice-Minister for Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan in a separate meeting.

Shrestha also met Toshihiro Nikai, President, Japan-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship League, and a ranking leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and Nobuo Kishi, Member, House of Representatives and Chief of Foreign Affairs Department of the LDP.

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport. Welcome by our representatives and transfer to our Hotel.
Day 02:Drive at around 09 AM to Sankhu by the private vehicle. Sankhu is small old town dated 1st century surrounded by the four entrance gates and used for the different purposes from centuries to till now. Start walking from Sankhu crossing great farming field and local houses and the Sacred Hindu River called Salinadi. Walk some 04 hours to Nagarkot where the last part is up. Lunch on the way. Overnight in the Hotel in Nagarkot 2170 m.
Day 03:Wake up early in the morning to Enjoy Sunrise view over the great Himalayan Ranges including Everest 8848 m. and others as Langtang, Gaurishankar, Ganesh Himal and many more. Breakfast in the Hotel and then walk down through the forest and Villages .This day you will enjoy the Pack Lunch. Overnight stay in the Hotel in Dhulikhel.
Day 04:Enjoy Sunrise over the Himalayan Range again. The view of Everest closer from here than from Nagarkot and after breakfast drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m.) and it takes about 30 minutes. Trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640 m.) which takes approximately three hours.

Day 02: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) and it takes approximately five hours.

Day 03: Rest day at Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) for acclimatization.

Day 04: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867m.) which takes approximately five and half hours.

Day 05: Trek from Tyangboche to Shanasa (3670m.) and it takes almost two and half hours.
Day 06: Trek from Shanasa to Monjo (2835m.) which takes approximately five and half hours.

Day 07: Trek from Monjo to Lukla (2886m.) and it takes about four hours.
