Larkya la, Kang la Pass Trekking
A tough series of challenges from Larakay Pass to the Nar & Phu valleys and crossing Tilicho Pass to Kaligandaki valley is one of the highlight of this circuit. This trip ascends slowly through the changing landscapes of the low lying farmlands to the higher alpine meadows and bare wilderness around Tilicho Lake.
Descending deep into the Kaligandaki gorge on the other side, this second section of this trek offers incredible array of landscape, including the magnificent mountain vistas of soaring Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges just opposite of one and other.
From beautiful Marpha village we head steep up once again to Kharka (Yak grazing pasture) to take challenge with one of the toughest high altitude trail in the Himalayas “Round Dhaulagiri” for which we have to cross the series challenging high altitude barriers like Tukuche Base Camp, Thapa Pass and French Pass before reaching Italian Base Camp and Pine Camp. We end up this most demanding but fairly rewarding adventure in Beni.

Price For The Trip: The total cost for the trek or tour you decide you want to do will depend on several different factors. The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons, the same trek / tour can vary in price quite substantially.
