The itinerary goes through small towns such as Kusma, Beni, Darbang, Dharapani, Moreni and reach Dhorpatan – the center of the most important hunting ground in Nepal.  Jaljala pass trekking in newly opened off the beaten path trekking destination of Nepal. Dhorpatan jaljala pass trek lies in western part of Nepal. Dhorpatan is popular for wild life hunting. Dhorpatan is also an attractive destination for trekkers and wildlife enthusiasts. Jaljala pass is protected by Dhorpatn hunting reserve. Dhorpatn is decorated by nature you can get the opportunity to see the forest of fir, pine, birch, rhododendron, hemlock, oak, juniper and spruce trees. Dhorpatan hunting Reserve is one of the prime habitats of blue sheep, ghoral, serow, Himalayan thar, black bear, pheasant and partridge and some endangered species of red panda and cheer pheasant.

Dhorpatan jaljala pass trek is also an attractive destination for hiking. Controlled hunting is allowed with proper license and certain seasons of the year. Hunting permit and license is issued by the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation in Kathmandu. Jaljala pass trekking offers an opportunity to discover areas, which remain practically, untouched and still retain an idiosyncratic lifestyle without being affected by western influences. Jaljala situated at Thabang village in Rolpa district. Main attractions of jaljala pass trek are presence of more than a hundred species of birds and wild life like leopard, bear, Musk deer and wild boar etc.

Jaljala pass trek and Dhorpatan hunting reserve offers the panoramic views of Mt. Sisne, Mt. Putha, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna and other mountains. For Jaljala pass trek it is not necessary any hiking and trekking experience, just normal walking experience is enough for Jaljala pass trekking. Best season for Jaljala Pass trek is February to May and August to December.

The type of accommodation you prefer in Kathmandu will make a difference to the overall cost (budget to 5 star accommodations). The mode of transport you prefer will also affect the cost of your package, for example prices vary greatly between flying versus private car/van, tourist or local buses. The camping trek and teahouse trek made a difference in the cost. The number of guides and porters required will also affect the total cost of your trek. For these reasons, the same trek / tour can vary in price quite substantially.
